The 2025 season for the St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Club’s travel teams was nothing short of inspiring—a testament to dedication, camaraderie, and the unbreakable spirit of Irish sport in the heart of the Midwest. From hurling pitches to camogie fields and Gaelic football battlegrounds, every player who pulled on the travel jersey carried the pride of the Gateway City with them. And for that, we are profoundly grateful.

To every hurler who chased down ground balls in the sweltering heat, every camogie player who sprinted through exhaustion, and every footballer who threw their body on the line in tight contests—thank you. Your commitment to traveling hundreds of miles, sacrificing weekends, and training through rain and shine built more than teams; it forged a family. Special appreciation goes to the rookies who stepped up, the veterans who led by example, and the families who packed cars, cooked meals, and cheered from the sidelines. Without your sacrifice, none of this would be possible.

The camogie squad, fresh from their 2024 Junior A National Championship, made a fearless leap to Intermediate. At the Philadelphia Finals, they pushed their hardest in at a new level! Last year’s dominance and their ability to step up has shown the nation that they are top tier competitors.

The Gaelic footballers took the Gateway Tournament home in St. Louis and brought fire to USGAA Nationals, falling just short of a win against Cayman GAA in a match decided by inches and heartbeats. Their relentless work rate and tactical growth under pressure have coaches and supporters buzzing—this team is primed for a breakthrough.

The hurlers were a force all season, however, they came up short for USGAA Nationals. They took the Madison and Gateway tournament showing they are a force to be reckoned with!

STLGAC successfully hosted the St. Louis Gateway Tournament on June 28, drawing clubs nationwide for a festival of skill, spirit and camaraderie.

All teams sported the new travel jerseys proudly sponsored by ApexNetwork Physical Therapy giving the squad a sharp, unified look on the road.

No USGAA Finals silverware this year—but 2026 is ours to build, share Gaelic sports, and elevate our game. With returning talent, sharper systems, and a culture of belief taking root, STLGAC travel squads are primed for national competition and hungry for what’s next!

Up STLGAC. See you in 2026
