After week 1 rainout we are excited to share what shaped out to be a beautiful day for the 2025 season hurling season opening week.
Our second hurling match-up of the day saw a motivated AOH St. Charles vs Amsterdam Tavern.
The first half saw Amsterdam trailing by 5 points to what appeared to be a long winded and dominating AOH St. Charles @ 2-4 AOH to 0-5 Amdam.
After a bolstering half time pep talk and several Busch Lattes - Amsterdam found their stride with Nix and Green putting up a slurry of goals and points that left St. Charles chasing a wide gap within minutes of the second half start.
Although the effort was there, the scores simply were not!
Congrats to Amsterdam on their first win!
